The Love List.

It's the beginning of February and everyone is talking about LOVE... and with Valentines day peeking just over the horizon I though that I would dedicate today's blog post on just that....... but with a bit of a twist.
At the beginning of last year I downloaded a picture from Pinterest with the intention of creating a board for my Sanity space (craft room). It was entitled "100 things that I love" (below).

As you may be aware... I don't live in Seattle (and have never been there)  and I don't know who Dan is.... but I do have things unique to me that I can put on my own list..... I haven't yet got around to doing the board... but throughout the year I HAVE been paying attention (and making notes in my journal) of the things that I love... because to be frank...sometimes I just down right forget that there is anything positive out there!
I loved the idea of having a board  to display In my "Sanity Space" and use it as a great visual reminder ....one of those things that when you are having a not so good day and feeling a bit low.... you can look at, and it makes you smile and feel more uplifted.

So what have I been putting on my growing list?.... Anything to remind myself of the good things in life.... the things that are positive, that I enjoy doing or the things I just down right, absolutely love...
So what do YOU love? List me twenty things right now in your head! Was it easy?....Yes?...then great!
Or did you find it a bit of a struggle to know what you like/love?  If so, why not take a little time to create your own "love list" too?....It can become something that you can then refer back to, as and when you need it.
If you are struggling a little to think of more than a few things,  what follows may help jog your mind....today I am going to share with you some of the things on my love list. These are some of the pictures that I am committed to starting to put on my "Love list" board! If you are struggling then take a look at these......  Here are my top 30...(beware Lots of pictures!!)
In no particular order....

I LOVE....

  A good project .....

 This little munchkin's smiles.....

 This guy... my best friend...

Going new places and having an adventure...

 Beautiful crisp mornings....

Christmas and my snowflakes....

Snow days and building snow men....

Trees and gorgeous sunsets...

 My favourite country walk...

Taking  trips to the lake district/ beautiful scenery!

 England's green and pleasant lands...

 Lilac trees....

Lime Green and Blue....

 My family....

Stone walls...

Lakes and streams...being near water...

 My red roses....

 Tree lined drives...

Peace and quiet and time to think...

Taking pictures of Hearts!

Collecting pebbles and heart shaped stones...

The scriptures...

Taking photos...

 ...and so many more...

I bet you managed to find heaps when you got started but even if you didn't, if you only put one thing  each day on your list... that's 365 items at the end of a year.... just remember little things add up in to big things. I challenge you to start making your "Love List" today...

See you next week.

    1. Yes. I guess we all need roses to remind us of summer in midwinter! Hope you are not too fed up of the snow and that Spring will come soon.

  8. Beautiful pictures! I love that almost all of things you love are outside the door. Family, nature and things the mother earth has to give are the best than the material things. I should make a Love List board with all of things I love/like. Thank you for sharing!

  15. I love your sanity spot. Mine is a corner of my kitchen where my computer sits. When I want to while away some time, I play a computer game. It activates my mind and keeps my brain working. I enjoyed your photos of thankfulness, and appreciate you sharing with us here at Tell me a Story.
